A sales agents’ order collection system must necessarily be integrated with the management software, whatever it may be. For this reason, for Upp, we have created a standard integration method for the order collection app with the management system. A broad set of tables has been defined containing all the data necessary for optimal operation. The database is the same for both the tablet and web versions.
As an alternative to the standard connector, if the management system allows, XML interfaces or dedicated APIs can also be used, both for extracting data from the management system and for entering orders.
